Our client, an industrial group based in Messancy in Belgium, wishes to strengthen its teams and is looking for a Supply Chain Manager (M/F) with the following profile:

You will have to lead the Supply Chain of an industrial environment including all warehouses, logistics, import and export operations. You are in charge of the implementation of logistics strategy.

Mission

  • You define all the resources (human, material, budget…)

  • You manage the stock with regular inventory, freshness control, product safety, FIFO & FEFO compliances … You define stock strategy,

  • You participate to vendors tender and you negotiate with them and with external service providers,

  • You ensure the transportation flows inside the Business Units

  • You define and monitor costs and CAPEX according to the budget previously validated with the hierarchy,

  • You provide support to team members in technical and methodological terms,

  • You define the periodical maintenance for warehouses,

  • You are in charge of the continuous improvement, you anticipate malfunctions, risks, delays and you make recommendations,

  • You provide your support to improve IT systems, to define a set of KPI’s,

  • You ensure GRC to policies and processes for warehouses,

  • You take care of all the documentation for imports & exports,

  • You manage your collaborators in terms of recruitment, development, work organization, performance evaluation …), you identify the talents in your team,

  • You ensure compliance with QHSE rules and you are responsible for the safety of people,

Profil

  • You have a bachelor/master’s degree in operations and/or Supply Chain

  • You have a relevant experience of at least 10 years in industry,

  • You have advanced knowledge of Microsoft office, Excel is a must,

  • You have a good level in English and French. Any other language is a plus,

  • Experience with SAP is a real asset,

  • You know the SCI principles and you master the preparation of budget,

  • You are good in people management, conflict and stress management,

  • Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills, sense of urgencies and ability to set priorities,
