Our client, an industrial group based in south of Belgium (near Luxembourg and France), wishes to strengthen its teams and is looking for a Maintenance Manager (M/F) with the following profile:

You will have to manage the maintenance budget and the planning for all the plant.


  • You will elaborate the maintenance’ budget in collaboration with the different maintenance referent. You will have to monitors expenses and justify the deviations,

  • You have to perform periodical analysis on budget and expenses,

  • You are a support for modification of maintenance policies, and you do analysis from the application of modifications in the policies,

  • You take part in the process of auto-maintenance (detection and application of areas),

  • You make sure that handbooks and work instructions are up to date,

  • You take part to the maintenance design (new machinery and equipment in order to plan their implementation) and you ensure that the installation is in compliance with technical specifications. You ensure that deadlines for implementation are respected,

  • You ensure machinery, equipment, services, and materials purchasing for the maintenance,

  • You schedule the planning of shutdowns while taking resources into account (people, external services companies …),

  • You collect and analyze intervention needs with managers,

  • You assure the execution of interventions in accordance with the best practices,

  • You realize the planning of preventive maintenance actions also focusing on the improvement of the practices,

  • You are in charge of continuous improvement for both maintenance system and for machinery,

  • You evaluate proposals for improvement (technical and economical),

  • You take part in the spare parts management to optimize it,

  • You define maintenance KPIs,

  • You take part in various analysis (technical KPI, final cost, breakdown root cause…)

  • You guarantee that all the maintenance activities are done in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices),

  • You cooperate in the definition of training plan for all the maintenance resources,


  • You have a master’s degree in maintenance,

  • You are experienced with at least 5 years of experience in the management of maintenance on production site,

  • You can analyze processes and implement continuous improvement solutions within maintenance,

  • You are able to take important decisions,

  • Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, automation, energy building,

  • Legal and normative knowledge (technical, safety, etc.)

  • You have advanced knowledge of Microsoft office,

  • You are fluent in English and French. Any other language is a plus,

  • Knowledge in change management,
